The WRI is a global research organization that spans more than 50 countries. It works to address urgent environment and development challenges, focusing on issues of water, agriculture, forests, climate, energy and the urban environment.

Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN)

The CDKN aims to help decision-makers in developing countries design and deliver climate compatible development. It does so by combining research, advisory services and knowledge management in support of locally owned and managed policy processes.

Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP)

The NWP is a comprehensive network that unites Dutch water expertise. The partnership acts as a centre of information on water expertise, policy developments and market opportunities. It also initiates, coordinates and executes projects for its members, such as trade missions, exhibitions and conferences.

Centre for Development Innovation (CDI) of Wageningen University

The CDI works on processes of innovation and change through facilitating innovation, brokering knowledge and supporting capacity development. It focuses on the global challenges of secure & healthy food, sustainable markets, adaptive agriculture, ecosystem governance and conflict, disaster & reconstruction.

Gender Resource Facility (GRF)

The Gender Resource Facility provides expert advice, technical assistance and knowledge services on gender equality and women’s rights to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, its embassies and partners. The Facility is implemented by a consortium of the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) and Femconsult.
